Art for Growing: A Journey Through Play, Nature, and Creation showcases the creative exploration of educators and artists at El Patio De Mi Casa as part of the La Casita de Bambú residency. This exhibition documents their journey of discovery through photographs, sketches, and reflections, highlighting how found objects, meditation, and spontaneity shaped meaningful creations. By stepping away from routine, participants embraced play, curiosity, and collaboration, celebrating not just the final works but the moments of joy and experimentation. La Casita de Bambú is a vibrant artist residency program nestled within the larger community arts initiative, El Patio de Mi Casa, envisioned by multidisciplinary artist Daniel Djuro-Goiricelaya. This unique residency offers a serene yet dynamic environment where artists, writers, and cultural workers can immerse themselves in creative exploration while connecting deeply with nature, community, and the themes of resilience and collective growth.
