SUSPENDED REALITIES
by Grace Li

An exploration of the intersectionalities between movement, light, and time through analog and digital photography.
slightly longer: “Suspended Realities” explores movement, light, and passage of time through analog and film photography. Li’s work finds reminiscence in moments of silence, and breeds reflection. Imprints of light throughout a room suggest instants within a larger narrative, haunting viewers with the mystery of what has been left out of frame. Li’s work depicts spaces that evoke memory, while questioning our understanding of their context.
